Join us at Manchester Jazz Festival for a hands-on, family-friendly workshop where you’ll craft your very own wildflower seed balls to take home and scatter in your garden or container, perfect for pollinators like bees, butterflies, and even night-time navigators like moths!
Green spaces, no matter how big or small, are important places for pollinators, especially in urban areas like towns and cities. Hundreds of different species are likely to be present in just an ordinary urban back garden, balcony or even a windowsill.
Our Plant gardeners will offer you a selection of different wildflower seed mixes and then guide you step-by-step through creating your own wildflower seed balls. Once you have made your seed balls with our team, we will then explain what to do with them next to ensure you have a wonderful wildflower display for you and our native pollinators to enjoy!
