Whether you're a budding botanist, an urban nature lover or just want to come and have a look at what we do, there’s all kinds of different ways to get involved and lend a hand. Whatever your skills, you can be sure we’ll find a way to put them to good use.

No problem, there are plenty of ways to lend a hand without needing to put on a pair of gardening gloves. Courses need arranging, workshops need planning, labels need writing, Social Media needs updating. Please choose the appropriate field during your application.

We don't have an age limit, everyone is welcome to volunteer with us. However, anyone under 18 must have permission to volunteer from a parent or guardian and must be supervised by an adult.

There's no minimum amount of time we ask volunteers to commit. However, please note we can only accommodate volunteers for a half day (10am - 1pm or 2pm -5pm) and drop-in is not available.

No, as a volunteer there’s no pay.

Yes, Plant Co-operative has insurance cover for legal liability claims, either by or against volunteers working for the organisation, resulting from damage to property or personal injury.
