Join us for our weekly Wildlife Gardening Club.
Become a citizen scientist for a few hours and discover the urban wildlife living right under our noses at our first insect BioBlitz of the year with our good friends at the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
But what is a BioBlitz? Simply put, it’s a citizen led survey that helps to create a snapshot of the variety of life found in a specific location. The records collected then go on to form part of a genuine scientific survey of the area and are added to the national database.
Or in other words, it’s an informal and fun way to meet some fellow nature lovers and have a good nosey around in the NOMA garden on a Thursday night with an expert by your side. Who knows, we might even let you have a go with the big butterfly net.
This event is free to attend but booking is recommend - Book A Spot.
